No. This tool uses FFmpeg.wasm technology โ all processing happens locally in your browser. Your files never leave your computer.
What is subtitle burning?
Subtitle burning (hardcoding) permanently embeds subtitles into the video frames. Unlike soft subtitles, burned subtitles are always visible regardless of the player. Only SRT format is supported.
Can I merge videos of different formats?
Yes, but for best results, use videos with the same resolution and codec. Different formats will be re-encoded, which may cause quality loss and take longer.
Why does the watermark use English text only?
The FFmpeg drawtext filter may not support CJK characters without additional font files. For best results, use English/ASCII text for watermarks.
How long does processing take?
It depends on your CPU and file size. The first use downloads ~30MB of engine files (cached afterward). Trimming is fast, while GIF conversion and subtitle burning take longer due to re-encoding.
